I recently installed a Holley Street Avenger on my 273 and when I am in gear it idles a perfect 800rpm but as soon as I put in into neutral or park it jumps to 1900rpm. I know a high idle is typically a vacuum leak however wouldn't that vacuum leak be constant whether the car is in gear or not?

So I need someone to tell me why I can't pull the EFI unit off of an old 5th Ave and put it on my 273. What problems would I run into? Or is it something that if I had the EFI system available and a little bit of know how I could make happen on the cheap? Just out loud thinking as I process...

Anyone have any tips on how properly set this up for street use? I've got a 273 and have only ever had carbs with vacuum secondaries. Should I feel the secondaries kick in? Where about should they kick in. Is it a drive stop adjust drive again process? Thanks

Hey will a electric choke kit from an AFB work on an AVS?

Hey I was wondering if someone would be willing to toss up a pic of their AVS on the choke and throttle side installed on the vehicle. I feel like I am missing something. Thanks.
