I have a set of 9" wide 17" wheels and was wondering what needed to be done to get a set of 9" wide wheels on a 72 Dodge Dart? Just a spring offset kit with a minitub, or do I need to move the leafs to under the frame?

I going to minitubb my 72 Dart soon and was wondering if a 12" wide rim will fit when completed? I see a lot of pics of 10" wheels and it lloks to have some extra space. Will they fit or is it the general concensus to use 10" wide wheels?
