    "That thing gotta 273?"

I'm sure a lot of you guys have already seen this '67(?) Valiant participating in a road rally, but for anybody who hasn't: I am impressed!

Jonathan W. tows home a Toad

Well-known youtuber Jonathan Winans of Cameron, N.C. recently dragged home a '61 Lancer 770: Good luck, Jonathan!

    While we're talking C/L ads...

'63 Valiant convertible with a 273, etc. No connection to the seller. 1963 PLYMOUTH VALIANT SIGNET 200 It looks pretty good to me; what do you think? If it's really in good condition and well done, I think the price is pretty reasonable.

Not mine. Looks nice, though. 1962 Dodge Lancer

Interesting '62 Toad blown big block(!) car for sale on Reno C/L

1962 Plymouth Valiant Not mine. The asking price is about half of what I've got invested in my '62 Toad, but I don't have anywhere near all the cool stuff that this guy has. OTOH, that car is pretty much limited to the strip, while mine is a driver. It was hard enough squeezing an LA motor...

    Need kickdown cable slide

Can anybody tell me where I can buy a kickdown cable slide like this one? It doesn't have to be a Lokar. I need the type of cable slide that clips to a flat, grooved stud, like the one pictured; not the kind that connects to a ball stud. I really appreciate your help.

Installing aftermarket chassis stiffeners in early A body

I am going to install a Magnumforce A-body front end stiffening kit: http://www.magnumforce.com/magnumstore/shop/item.aspx?itemid=21 and an Auto Body Specialties A-body torque box kit: https://www.autobodyspecialt.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=MP-AR2829 in my '62...

    A Blast From the Past: First-Ever A-Body V8 Swap!

I think this is pretty funny: In its October, 1960 issue, Hot Rod Magazine swapped a 283 C.I. Chebby small-block V8 into a 1960 Valiant sedan. They left the 13-inch wheels and tires and the 7-1/4" live (edit: Oops, meant to say "open") differential in the car, and they report that it "smoked the...

It's just not fair that Toad owners never got a body sticker like Duster owners did

So I have taken it upon myself to remedy the situation:

A Couple of Corrections From an Old Guy

I recently got into a discussion of A-bodies on this board when it became apparent to me that some of the posters didn't know a couple of things about the really early A-bodies. Since I grew up with these cars, and drove a '60 Valiant for about 10 years, believe me I am not making this stuff...

How to prepare my car for the dragstrip?

I think my son and I are ready to prepare my '62 Valiant V8 for the drags, but we're newbs at drag racing. I have learned one thing, however: feather the throttle off the line. You can't steer when you're popping a wheelie. Am I going to have to install a roll cage? Modify the gas filler...

I think this eBay auction is pretty funny

Up for sale is a '61 Valiant Suburban, with some rust but the seller doesn't say where or how bad. He can't show actual pictures of the car because it is in someone else's possession. Also, the trim and some parts have been removed and are supposedly residing inside the wagon. So he shows...

Is this eBay auction for real?

What do you think of this eBay auction?

Just for your possible amusement, here's a picture of the first mockup I did when I installed the 360 in my '62 Valiant V-200::happy11:
