I have a Carter mechanical pump M6270. On my fuel pressure gauge it used to read 7 1/2. Now it reads up to 9 1/2 to 10. I have another Carter pump and switched them. Still the same. Mine is leaking and I need to change it. I put one in about 5-6 years ago. I remember it was hard to get the filler neck to slide into the grommet. Is there any type of lube that would make this easier? Thanks. Fred B

They are starting in my area to get gas without Ethanol. The thing is it's only 91 octane. Will this work in my 340 with 10.2 and eddy heads? It also has a MP 508 cam so that should bleed off some pressure. Fred B

I came back from a cruise in and after the car sat for awhile I smelled gas. I took the air cleaner off and the primary throttle plates were wet from gas. As I looked to see were it was comming from I see gas just come out of the squirter. It's not alot just like if you just hit the pump arm...
