Well, I got my carb pads from the machinist last night. After looking at them a while, I decided to just get them welded right to the intake to make things as sturdy and foolproof as possible. I dropped it off at the welder about an hour ago, and he said I should be able to pick it up...

My new intake showed up today UPS...and with the #6 intake runner broken off :(. Anyone know someone who can weld it up in the Rochester, NY area? Or have a suggestion how to fix it? It's a fairly clean break right at the end of the runner where it joins the plenum.
