I've owned this '72 Scamp since I was 18. I drove it to work for 2 years and drag raced it some weekends. Then the engine went bad so it got a rebuild. My older brother helped me with it, since it was my first rebuild. Boy, was that a mistake. He's of the belief that bigger is always better so, it got a .040 over bore, 292*/.508" cam, tons of head work, ld4b Edelbrock intake, 750 Holley, headers and a trans rebuild with a 4000 rpm stall.
