Hi all. So I have a ‘72 Duster Base that now has a 360 with some long tube headers smashed in to fit on the drivers side by the previous owner. I do not like how they fit, they’re hot, and I think it’ll run better.

I would like to know if anyone has suggestion for short headers that will fit my set up. I’ve been looking at these from summit. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Why not just put on a good set of long tubes? With shorties, you'll need head pipes to mate up to them etc.

Sanderson and TTI are the only companies that make specific short headers that fit. TTI sells the head pipes for theirs as well. If your considering long tube headers, Doug's and TTI are the only companies that make a log tube that does not hang low, i.e. tube under the steering linkage. A 90'd 5.2 Dakota or Full size truck/Van 5.2/5.9 mini starter helps with room.

Is your car an auto or manual, Column or floor shift?
