A widow friend of my wife called me with this question. She has a 2002 jeep CJ. If it matters, it has the 4.0 six, manual transmission and not much of more. Lately, the battery has been draining down, and she has to charge the battery or jumpstart it frequently. She got a new battery for it a while back, and that new battery is now dead. I can take care of tracing that problem, but the problem I can’t figure out is the beeping. I have not heard this beeping, but she said when the battery got really low, to the point where it won’t start the car, there’s a beep beep beep sound coming from in the area of the instrument panel or Steering column. Anybody have an idea what that beeping could be?
