10 1/2" Clutch Upgrade

This is going in a 67 Cuda with 273.

I can get a aluminum bellhousing (#3743859, or 2892482) and not sure if my trans will hook up to it.

Anybody do this swap? Info please,

I think the 482 bellhousing is what I used in my 64. It has the small hole in it so your trans has to have a small input bearing retainer, about 4.3" in diameter. If you have a larger retainer you either have to swap to a smaller one (I think this can be done depending on the trans.) or machine the hole in the bellhousing to fit the larger retainer.

Great info, I can get either bell housing as Brewers has adapter rings.
