10x2.5 e-brake setup

Trying to round up all the parts to put 10x2.5 inch brakes on the back of my dart with an 8 3/4 rearend. I've seen people mention e-brake levers with a pin type and a lever type. What are the differences between these two? What models did each type originally come equipped on? Are any of the parts interchangeable between these two setups?

They all pivot on a pin; the slot is for the bar that pushes the front shoe against the drum.
