I'm gonna try like hell to get my Duster in the 11's this Sunday at Atco. Wish me luck.

I shed about 20 lbs by going with a colum shift :glasses9: and what not. The cold air and some other tuning revalations should help. I ran a 12.06 on Labor day and hope to crack the barrier in a couple days.
 
Just do what NHRA did... shorten the track.

100lb is worth about a tenth so keep shedding.

11.57 by Tom Cannon. Next year it will be challenged. The car has a pretty mild build in it now that is impressing me as it is. 11's will be really sweet but in 09 a whole new short block will make much more power.

What I mean by mild, the above pic was taken on a CT cruise that was over 100 miles round trip with the wife, kids and what not all on pump gas.
 
Wow 11.57 is fast for anything never mind a stock appearing E body.
 
Good luck watch out for the Black and red A12 team there running real strong too. Im hoping to run my wailiant in the FAST X class next season
 
I had a little problem with the new column shifter off the trailer and went from 1-3 off the trailer. 2nd pass was 11.995 @ 114.9mph still with a little fumbling of the column shifter. Next was 11.93 at the same mph. :cheers:

Last run of the day though, I cracked my second 904 tail housing which pretty much put an end to the 08 season. Over the winter the entire drivetrain will be coming out for a new engine build, tranny refresh and some gearing changes. I'm looking for sub 11.50's in 09.

I'm still smiling. It was a good day at Atco.
