Hey guys and gals. I installed a Mopar electronic ignition conversion kit on my 85 Dodge D150 318, and I am wondering if there is any reason I can't run a 12v coil and just supply 12v to it, let's say from the input on the ballast resistor. It is currently wired this way, and runs fine, just wondering if it will eventually fry the orange ignition control box. I know, not an A-Body, but if y'all can help, I sure would appreciate it!
