This is a 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe that I’ve owned for close to 10 years. Always garage kept, runs very good and is a really cool car. It needs nothing but a reproduction rear bumper, a quality paint job and a new home. It is very nice as is for a driver. No rust, no dents, etc. These cars are literally built like military tanks.
Has a new front bumper, new rechromed bumper cross bar, new chrome hood ornament, new gas tank, new stainless fender side mouldings, new battery, new tires, rebuilt master cylinder that is mounted under the floor board from the factory. New wheel bearings, new brake lines, 4 new wheel brake cylinders, new brake pads, new muffler, rebuilt starter, professionally restored speedometer. Top end completely rebuilt with rebuilt head. 12 new hydraulic lifters that cost $50 a piece. New lifter rods. I also have the original wheels that are included. This car is special in the fact that in 1950, Chevy was the first of the big manufacturers to introduce the first mass produced automatic in the U.S.
But, only 15 percent of Chevy cars received the first automatic at the tail end of the 1950 production year. You can verify this online. This car is 100 percent original. Has the PowerGlide automatic. 1950 was also the first year the larger 235 inline 6 was produced. It was the largest motor produced anywhere at that time. But, only automatics received the larger 235. This car has both. It has the original torquetube driveshaft that has only one designed u- joint in the front that is self lubricated by the transmission. Also has the original 6 volt electrical system still in tact and works well. Original oil bath air filter housing, original oil filter housing on driver side of engine. Factory dash push button starter. Vacuum wipers. Reverse is all the way down on the column. Factory choke knob on dash. Heater works great. The Cragar aluminum slot wheels are in excellent condition. Very sought after, rare and valuable themselves. Fun car to drive and own.
The price is $4500. This is a sale add. Please be respectful of that. If you are interested or have questions message me. We can exchange phone numbers. Located in PA. Note. This particular car has a large selection of reproduction parts available. Most parts are also very affordable. If interested. I can also text you a very nice walk around and video of it running.

Here is the new hood ornament I installed not long ago. It was a high end dealer option back then. This was also a couple hundred.

Speedometer also. I’m going to add interior photos in the next couple of weeks. After my Coronet is mobile, allowing me to do so.

15 percent of 1950 Chevy cars received the country’s very first automatic transmission and the largest engine available anywhere at that time. This car is one of them.
