My sons friends grandfather left him a 1957 Dodge D100 and we want to help him get it running. It has no battery and our question is should it be 6 volt or 12 and positive or negative ground. It is original including the generator. Not sure on the size but it is a V8.
Sorry no pics as we have not went to help yet. It is in a barn and cold out so I dont know when we will get over to help him. I understand it is rust free and from Nebraska. I hate to see a kid with no help getting the truck running Grandpa gave him and passed before they got it running.
