Also, many years ago the Imperial Club began collecting, scanning and posting the whole series.
Their website is very well laid out for computer and set up for those with limited/low speed internet.

As informative as some of those are, it is irritating and insulting how much they "talk down" to the mechanics. There could have been MUCH more actual technical information in many of these and a lot less BS

On a related note, when my Dad has his parts store, the "big" warehouse he dealt with changed from (go figure) Standard / Blue Streak to Bendix P&D. I heard they called it "Piddle and Diddle." The rep put on a "school" for some of the local mechanics which we hosted. The dumb SOB had no frickin idea how a simple Kettering ignition system worked. That's coil/ breaker points if you don't.

ya. i'm guessing they thought it was funny and would make the filmstrip more watchable :rolleyes:
