1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible
needs restoration
i've had it about 20 years
fun car
i believe built in Windsor Canada back when we got along
the good
slant 6 with about 15000 miles on a rebuild
push button transmission in good old chrysler working order
brake system upgrade to dual cylinder master cylinder with appropriate upgrades to complete system
intact dash, gauges all functioning
original AM radio works additionally it has been internally modified so you can plug into your favorite iPod or other device
(5) 14" rims
all windows go up and down.
body in good condition see notes below on rust etc
seat belts (4) added didn't come with belts in 63
top goes up and down (manually) top motor was long gone by the time i got it.
starts with a hidden push button add-on
air breather included (see floor of passenger side)
INCLUDED IN SALE extra (replacement) heater pull switches see pics, i have a good used original set, extra power steering unit with hoses, (frankly the car is so small it does not need power steering),
this car has been in a number of parades see last picture
the bad
needs tires, a brake job, a tune up/oil change, outside antenna broken.
front and back seats are threadbare and frayed
carpet worn
convertible top (replaced about 15yrs ago) has a major tear right in the center (branch came straight down darn nearly killed my cat who used to sleep there occasionally)
taillights need rewiring
starts with a hidden push button add-on BECAUSE key switch is sloppy and it's not just the insert cylinder i've replaced that twice, with the key it will start 2 out of 3 times with the button 100%
major discoloration from gas overflow at pump (don't 'top it off but nobody listens)
no battery included in this sale,
body in good basic condition see notes see pictures of damage front right corner rear quarter panel.
bit of surface rust where magnetic decorations were stuck to car.
bottom corners of doors has rust through metal,
