Looking for a stock (am or am/fm) radio in working condition for a 1964 Plymouth Valiant. I assume a Dart or Barracuda radio would also fit, but not sure. Anyway, let me know what you have.
 
First 3 are '64 Dart GT, next 3 are '63 Valiant 200(pretty sure it was a 200) wagon.

Thanks for the pics. Three questions: How much for either radio, do you have a bezel for either, and are they both in working order?
 
Faceplate set-up for Dart radio is like a 3 piece deal specifically for GT trim package. I believe I have it all, but would not work for your application. Valiant radio is pictured with faceplate/ bezel. Will check operation when I get back home.

Got it. When you can, let me know if you have the knobs for the radio that will fit my Valiant. Thanks again.
 
'63 radio works good. I am under the impression that in '63 & '64 the radios are the same, but you would have to check to be sure. I am thinking $40+ shipping for it. I will try to find knobs if you want it.

Sorry for the delay. Happy you found the original tuner knob for the radio. Yes, I will definitely take it as long as you are OK with accepting a check. This is what I had packaged up to send. You may be right about knobs not being '63's, from some pics I was able to find on internet. All I have, though. Let me know what you want to do.

Don't the 1965 Valiant radios have the rectangular 'Chicklet' style push buttons? Be happy to take a look at it if you have pics. As far as the 1963 Valiant radio goes, I really don't feel like compounding a mistake by purchasing the wrong year radio and having what are clearly out-dated knobs. Sorry-just a stickler for those type of details. Like I said, I'd be happy to see what a 1965 Valiant radio looks like if you feel like taking and sending pics. Thanks again and sorry if I'm being a pain.

I don't want to insult you, but several radios of the same model have already been posted for $35; one threw in free shipping. If it works and has 'Valiant' on the screen as pictured, I'll pay $35. Let me know if acceptable. Thanks again .
