I bought this to go Nostalgia Super Stock Racing and Street Race.

My understanding is it is a original 383 four barrel that broke when it
was nearly new and was replaced with a 426 Street Wedge.

It has the original Red/White Paint and I cannot find any bondo period!
There is a minor dent behind driver door that could pop out.

It has great Bones: The Floors/Trunk/Frame and suspension are in great
condition.

However, It was kept right next to Malibu beach and the external body has
rust in most of the usual places on the exterior. It does not need any panels replaced
or the quarters = Just remedial work on the external rust and maybe a small patch on passenger
above back tire that was facing the beach.

One seat needs recovering but it has covers for both seats.

All the trim is there and nice. There is a lot of spare stuff including a extra nice
grille. There are a bunch of extra stuff the second owner accumulated over 20/30 years.
The body is very straight and bondo free!

The engine has 800 easy street miles on it (ODO zeroed when engine installed)
and never raced yet although raced plenty decades ago for 20 years in Northern Cal
for 40,000 Miles.

It is a 491 Stroker (4.28 x 4.25 Stroke) as I calculate it.
Scat Crank/Rods (7.1 length)
Edelbrock aluminum heads with some porting/bowl work.
TorkerII Intake and Holley dual feed (But you can choose any of my
200 carbs in our race shop for it)
MSD 6AL analog ignition
Headman Headers
Included are all the removed parts from the 426 engine: Heads/Rods/Pistons/Cam lifters etc.
They are all standard and undamaged (Car alleged to have 40,000 original miles many a 1/4
mile at a time)
It was alleged to make 612HP but there are no Dyno sheets available I have found
although there is a fairly large file with some documentation and receipts.

The transmission was done at the same time by Mike's Racing Transmission
in Lancaster CA. one of the top race trans shops in California

The 3500 Furnaced Braised Converter was done by Chris (personally) the owner
of Continental Converters.

Unfortunately, the car has sat for ten years and will need the fuel system drained/cleaned
and everything else serviced and inspected. I spun the engine over prior to purchase and
made sure it had oil pressure but I made sure it did not have fuel pressure with the Skunky
gas that is in the tank.

If it was not dealing with the external rust issues and had not been sitting 10 years, It would be
a $30,000+ Car

clean California title with no Fees due.

However, I have a Dozen race cars and I realize that I just do not have time to get this car on the road as
we are back to racing the end of January and I have four cars to freshen up.

THEREFORE .......................$12,500.00

BUT All Offers will be considered

I will deliver anywhere withing 500 Miles of Nevada for free or anywhere for just the price of Diesel!

This is the worse spot that a patch should fix as
the trunk is perfect and the 1/4s solid. It was facing
the beach and is rusting from the outside not the inside.
