1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet {2 door hard top}

$5495.

I bought the car at the spring Rhinebeck, NY 2004 car show.
The car came from the factory with a 273 2 bbl, and the Pushbutton Auto tranny.

Now has a 318 4bbl, I rebuilt, with dual exhaust,
still the pushbutton auto.
I built a mild 318, for street driving to go to car shows,
not for drag racing, I wanted a dependable cruiser.

1964 Valiant Signet 2dr hardtop
factory V8 car
push button auto
remote drivers door mirror, day night interior mirror
bumper guards
AM radio
heater
variable speed wipers
2.93 suregrip 7 1/4" rear
Los Angeles California build car that was in CA till 2003.

273 replaced by a rebuilt 318,
I re-used the 273 valve covers & timing cover so it looks like a 273
273 4bbl air cleaner.
LD4B intake, Edelbrock# 1406 600 cfm electric choke carb
casting # 302 heads so unleaded gas is no problem.

dual exhaust with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers,
new carpet with extra sound deadner under the carpet for a quieter car
under dash stereo, so the dash was not cut.

205/70R14 tires.

manual brakes
manual steering

Not a rusted thru /rotted away driven in the Northeast car.
The car was in California till 2003.

Lots of pics at linked site.

Very nice car you've got there and nothing to say about the price.
I was interested but I have been looking for a good '65 Valiant wagon for ages and when one suddenly turned up I just had to have it..
Good luck with your sale, someones going to get a lot of car for their money!

Yours is definitely a better deal than a local car for sale on CL. It's a '65 Valiant 2dr and an he wants $35,000 for it! Granted it won a trophy at MATS last year but jeeeeez, I didn't think they were worth that....at least not in today's market.

i wish i could buy this car but it's way to expensive to get it to CA.

plus i have a 68 fastback cuda to sell.

Congrats, you made such well thought out mods to that car. I know it took quite awhile to find the right buyer. I hope he joins up here.
