Good evening everyone, I just started pulling apart my 1964 parts car, and the a Pilar trim is metal, on the 65 it’s plastic. I have the dash out of my car so I cannot compare the fit. My plastic trim is crap so i Need the metal trim I got is it the same, besides not covering the windshield rubber on the pillar. Thanks in advance! pics of 64 parts car.

Bad floors tap in the rear. I bought it for the grill, heater, fresh air, ps and trinkets. It’s a good body I guess if you really need one.

The metal trim is only for a dash with no dash pad, and there are 2 small plastic termination trim pieces that clean up the meeting of the pillar trim to the metal dash frame. The plastic trims are for dashes with a dash pad, which was an option, at least in 65 and 66. I’m not sure it was available in 64.

Perfect, you answered my question. I have a padded dash in the 65 and the 64 is a non pad it does the transition pieces at the dash. I will just delete the pad holes and finish it up without. Thanks for the help, glad I joined up...
