1966 Barracuda Formula S
Purchased this car to restore in summer last year. Vehicle was purchased in Kentucky was originally from Louisiana back when new.
Previous owner garaged it in 1991 and it remained there. Until 2017 when I purchased it.
I replaced the forward front floor pans driver side and passenger, new headliner excellent job, new carpet complete with embroidered barracuda in mats, new starter factory original, new valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, rebuilt 4120s carter factory carburetor, new battery, new heater core, new gas tank and sending unit, new foam padding and upholstery from legendary,
Master cylinder kit completed . Runs and shifts very good, tracks straigh and now stops, I suspect valve guide seals will need replacement due to age of car don’t think it was ever rebuilt. Factory color is light blue metallic, car was repainted in the eighties a teal blue color. Interior door panels have door speaker in them. Cars running 273 Commando 904 automatic are original the rear is a sure grip 71/4 14 inch tires with the factory lugs and wheel covers. Needs all new weather stripping window felts and some minor body work and paint to finish into its former glory. Am radio console car brakes are drum all around have Certicard and original legible build sheet. True formula s factory air conditioned car. Asking $10,000 but opened to realistic offers.
