1966 Dodge Dart GT Wheel Well Trim

Happy New Year!

I am hoping to find a set of front/rear chrome wheel well trim for my 1966 Dart GT. My car currently only has the bottom chrome strip which expands the length of the car up to the wheel wells. I assume this might have been another option, but the entire bottom being trimmed out with chrome looks so cool to me. I am not sure if this missing wheel well trim can simply be added to my existing trim or the entire bottom trim would need to be replaced. Thank you for your time.

That's a nice 66 you have there. The wheel opening moldings are an option and can be added. As far as I know they are not repopped. Also, the fronts are 1966 only and all are pretty hard to find. Mine were all dinged up and my set is off of 4 different cars. You will need to start a Parts Wanted ad. This forum is not where you should ask for parts. Good luck.

1966 are not available. I have custom fit these mouldings to other cars, they are the softer anodized aluminum that can be bent and shaped.

Requires some skill, but can be done. I have gone so far as making a wood template, and shape the new mouldings to that.

Took 2 of these Dart wheel opening mouldings and custom fit them to the rear quarters on this '67 R/T.

Being careful to not damage the custom paint job.

Talk about impossible to find rear quarter wheel opening mouldings, non existent. Had to make them.
