Most real gassers had barely enough brakes to stop them after a run. Most of them would have been all drums. Back "then" small drums were or could be made lighter than most disk.Cool car, very interesting power brake set up. Curious if that is/was common practice.
That's enough Al...I'm Downsizing! I did check the mileage to see how far I would have to go to bring it home! LOLIt amazes me on how some people will throw a ton of cash and time into these cars , just to turn around and sell them at a loss..See it on this site alot.

I can still remember a car or two with drilled backing plates and one with drilled drums
