Cool car, very interesting power brake set up. Curious if that is/was common practice.

Most real gassers had barely enough brakes to stop them after a run. Most of them would have been all drums. Back "then" small drums were or could be made lighter than most disk.

I can still remember a car or two with drilled backing plates and one with drilled drums

It amazes me on how some people will throw a ton of cash and time into these cars , just to turn around and sell them at a loss..See it on this site alot.

Thats a cool pro street Jeff! You need that in your collection !

That's enough Al...I'm Downsizing! I did check the mileage to see how far I would have to go to bring it home! LOL

It's much closer to you and Theresa!

Where is it ? OK I see in Fort Lauderdale.
You could stop here on your way , put you guys up for the night and have a beer at the local watering hole !

You can bet you butt ,that will go much higher on the final rounds of bids !

I like it, that video doesn't do it any justice though! Sounds like an old John Deere twin cylinder plowing a field. 65

A 10”mopar drum setup is 40 lbs less than a mopar disc brake setup.
