Hello Friends
Have we seen this one before?
Yes I have posted this car before. it is still available, but don't click out, let me explain.
This is a 1966 Mexican Spec Plymouth Valiant wagon.
Under the hood is a 225 slant 6 linked to a 3 on the tree transmission.
Mechanically this car needs nothing.
Very few wagons were sold in Mexico making this a very rare car.
Now, you might be saying this is an ugly primered car. Please look closer.
The interior has been redone and the paint has been done on the interior.
The dash and the door panels are on good condition as are the instruments.
The paint has been done on the tops of the doors.
Here is what the car needs. It needs a baby blue paint job to match the interior.
The grille needs to be straightened a little bit. It also needs two front turn signals. I am sure that is not a difficult this to do on the grille.
Add about $1650 US dollars to the posted price for a complete paint job in a booth with two coats of color and 3 coats of clear by a professional shop. You can't beat that price with a stick.
It looks like the white roof does not need to done, but you might want to so the new blue paint looks like the new white paint.
I looked for a comparison price for a Valiant wagon in the US and couldn't find one. All of the prices were for coupes, sedans or convertibles.
Long roofs will do nothing but go up in value. Don't miss the opportunity to have a fairly rare wagon for a good price.
Here is the break down on the cost of the vehicle. The vehicle itself will be $6,900 dollars. Transport from where it is to the Nogales Arizona border $1,200 dollars for a total of $8,100. This price includes transport from Central Mexico to the border at Nogales. We are paying almost $6.00 US per gallon of gasoline or diesel.
Lately the exchange rate has been all over the place so please ask for an up to date price.
If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.
* We Can Now Offer US Delivery * - What this means is we can cross the car and you as the buyer would need to pick it up in Nogales Arizona or arrange transport to your location.
I know the thought of buying from Mexico makes people nervous.
I can provide references from my previous clients if necessary.
