Ok...I decided that I am not going to part it out, nor am I able to repair it at this time, so I will try to sell it. I had a little falling out with my father, and since it is at his house, I have to get it out of his driveway asap. So, I'm going to take a little (big) loss and sell it.

What I have is a 1966 Plymouth Valiant 100, 2dr sedan. The odometer shows a little under 45K miles, and the PA title verifies that. It has a 225 slant 6, 3spd manual on the column with 3.23 gears in the 7 1/4 rearend. Thats about it for options, as it has a radio delete plate, manual steering, and manual drum brakes. The car is suprisingly peppy, and ran well on the way home. Stayed cool, no noises, shifted great. The brake drums that I looked at (I haven't had all the wheels off) looked new, and the brakes work. Steering felt tight, the tires are really nice, the exhaust is newish. Still has the certicard in it. Originally light blue with light and dark blue interior, rubber floormat.

What I replaced: both the front fenders, from a 66' Barracuda, from a member on here (great guy btw!!), I also installed a set of grilles from a 66' cuda as well. They aren't perfect, but look much better than the originals in my opinion. Each one has a crack in it, but not much pitting.

What it needs: Both of the front subframes have rust around the upper control arm mount. I'll be including a set of subframes that are very nice, from a 66' cuda. The front inner fender on the passenger side is rusted out at the top. The lower quarters in the rear have rust, and it needs bother front floors and the rear floor on the passenger side. The rear subframes look OK, a little scaly in the back but no holes that I found. The trunk is very nice, still has all the paint in the spare tire well, but one small hole near the rear of the trunk. The front fenders could use some patches as they have some small holes, but they are very useable. The hood has a small hole in the front. The trunk lid, doors, rockers, roof, etc are all very nice. Has all the glass, and its all good. The seats need recovered, and the dash has two cracks in it.

There are a ton of good parts on here, but what I wanted to do with it was make a cool little drag car. Already set up for a manual transmission, it was going to be a 408/4-spd with relocated rear springs. But...I have to get rid of it. Besides, I no longer have a welder.

I'm asking $450 to take it out of my dads driveway. I have double that just in the car, not too mention buying the subframes, fenders, grilles, etc. I hate to get rid of it, but I have no choice at this point. I also have a set of buckets from a 65' Cuda that need recovered, a set of sbp aluminum slot wheels, 14x7, that would look awesome on it. I'd get rid of the car and the above parts for $700, or I'd work with someone to get what they want. I have some transmissions lying around, an extra 360...work with me. I could really use the cash too. Here is a pic of the car, I can get any other pics if anyone is interested.

BTW, the car is located in eastern Ohio, near the OH-PA border, in East Palestine-44413. South of Youngstown, 45 minutes west of Pittsburgh. You can PM me on here or send me an email at [email protected]. I hope I'm not forgetting anything, it was a long day at work and I accidently already deleted one whole post that I typed lol. Thanks!

Really looks pretty clean. Definite possibilities and the price is a steal. Radio delete? That's cool! toolman

I had a whole file of pics of the Valiant on my computer, and I can't find them! Shows the rust, etc. Sorry for those that want more pics, I'm looking!!
