I am selling my 1966 Plymouth Valiant V-100 2 door. This is a Commando Car. It has a 273 cu. in. V8 with a Isky Cam, Carter 4 barrel Carb, A833 4 Speed Transmission and a 8.75 Sure Grip rear end with 4.10 gears. This is a Everything delete Car. It has a Dealer installed heater out of a 63 Dart in October of 66 at the request of my Parents when they bought the car. In the late 80's my Dad installed a Audiovox car radio and speakers. I have removed the radio but I still have the Radio Delete Plate for the dash. The car also has a custom made set of Hotchkis Sub Frame Connectors welded in.

The Sub Frame Connectors can be found out this thread:
http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=268386

When the Sub Frame Connectors were fabricated by DTM Racing, they also installed a new fuel tank, rebuilt the carb, cleaned the fuel lines and got the car running. The car had been parked in my parents backyard and not driven or started since 1992.

This is a link to my first post about the car on this web site:
http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=263254

The car is currently Located in Phoenix, Arizona.

It has 93,748.9 Original Miles on it.
I have the ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL and other literature that came with the car to include the plastic pouch and the ORIGINAL Bill of Sale of the car to my Parents.

I am Asking $7,500.00 for this car. Payment to be made in Cash or Cashiers Check

Any Questions or requests for pictures, please send me a Private Message. I will answer all requests ASAP.

So, has the motor been out of the car? Reason I ask is the black painted engine compartment. Where in Phoenix is the car located?

Yes, the engine has been out of the car. My Dad did the top end on it back in 89/90 time frame. As for the engine bay being black, I guess that's when it was done.

Upon thinking about it, the engine did not come out of the car. I remember that the heads and intake were taken off with the block still in the car. Either way, that had to be when the engine bay was painted black

dart4forte - The car is located up in North Phoenix right now, it will be getting moved to East Mesa this coming weekend

Thanks Tmblwed for all the pics and info you sent me...I am very tempted...but I am in the process of trying to buy another car locally here in Southern California that I have shook hands on so to me it's a done deal but I am waiting on the seller to complete some things on his end that were a condition of the sale, before the deal can proceed to commence...if that falls through I will be getting a hold of you as I know what we discussed price wise and I could do that. Could the car be driven back to Cali, or would it need to be trailer-ed?

Getting pics of the fender tag this weekend. The car is in my old house which is 55 miles away. I will be getting it this weekend. I'll post pics then.

10 days ago and I don't see that you posted pics of the fender tag yet. Is it happening soon or is the car sold? :compress:

The car has been sold. Thanks to all who looked.

Timing is everything. That would have been tempting. Moving down that way next year. Going to down at the end of March. Bringing the RR down if it doesn't sell. I have 4 cars to move down there

I really did want this car but things don't always go as expected lol so I ended up with a '88 IROC-Z Camaro, but it still makes me wonder, what could have been with this Valiant:burnout: I am glad you got it sold!
