there is no "catch" on 67 it latches against the dash frame. Unless your talking about the lever that screws onto the lock cylinder?
The glove-box door is different, opened hole for the lock cyl. The standard door can be drilled to accept a lock though.
I think there are only a half dozen or so keys for them. If you have a good supply of keys chances are you'll have one that will work.

Correct for 67 was available in convertible only. Engineers dropped the ball by not adding a spring washer between that lock and bezel. If it makes a little rattle noise a rubber band will stop it. On a positive note, To rekey that lock cylinder is fairly simple.

Hey Redfish, I have a IBM card for a 67 fastback with glove-box lock. It was standard on 'vert and optional code 509, for $3.95 on the others.
