1967 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback Rolling chassis project car.
Price: $1100
Payments: Cash or Check (If payment made by check then wait until the check clears and then shipping or pick up can be arranged. At my price it wont be long for the check to clear, thanks).
Location: Rhodesdale, Maryland
Condition: Project car
Rear suspension:
8 1/4 open differential rear end with big bolt pattern axels and rear disc brakes from a 93- 98 Jeep Cherokee. Firm feel road race leaf springs with the front leaf spring hangers that can lower the rear 1 inch. Some of the leaf spring bushings on the rear leaf spring shackles got torn but they are in place.
Front suspension:
The front k member and torsion bars are stock and for the slant 6 engine but it has been removed and re-installed for temporary use to push the car around so the entire front end will need a professional rebuild. You will need new brakes as well.
Sheet metal:
The passenger side floor pan rusted only through the floor pan, the frame rail was good and solid. This area has been partially repaired. The trunk was repaired as well in the spare tire area. At one point the car had after market bucket seats installed so the mounting area for the passenger front bench seat stud had been dented a bit but a good dent puller that welds the stick to the metal can pull it right out. The lower quarters have some rust as well and will need repair. Various areas on the body also need dent or rust repair as well.
Good stuff:
The headliner is in great condition and original to a 1968 Barracuda fastback from a salvage yard. The car has 4 speed pedals in it from a slant 6 dodge dart and aluminum xv pedal covers which are no longer available to purchase from xv motorsports, the dash pad is in excellent condition and it is from a late model a body and dyed black, this car has a rare hood release mechanism from a late model a body, the fold down back seat can work if you operate it according to how the hinge is messed up a bit, this barracuda has a bunch of underhood parts like the brake master cyinder, ac thing in front of where the radiotor goes, and wiring from a 1976 Dodge Dart Sport. This Barracuda even still has the certicard and fender tag. Originally a slant 6 with 904 automatic on the column. The numbers matching engine and transmission can go with the car for free as well if you buy the car. This barracuda looks nice and the wheels pictured do go with the car. This car just needs the right person and there is all kinds of stuff you can do to it if you don't want an original build this is the car for you.
