Got to remember Hurst was involved in building these cars, so I suspect they used whatever they had at the time...in both the SS cars, and the Hurst Olds cars, ect. I had a 69 Hurst Olds back in the day and it had that shifter set up. Can't tell you how many times I found reverse when I was looking for second gear. The shifter really doesn't work that well but it is correct in the auto SS cars Mopar put on the street. Nice piece.

Thats some cool info. I was thinking it was looking kinda GM too but it had all the mopar wiring on it. Really neato relic.
