1968 barracuda trunk question

Will a 1967 trunk lid fit a 1968? I already have 67 tail lights because I wanted the Digi tail lights. This isn't a finished car so I would have to find trim for a 1967 if it is compatible.

The trunk lids are interchangeable. I suppose you know you'll need 67 or 69 reverse lamp fixtures cut into a 68 lower valance also.

Mount holes for trim may be different.

Yes, physically they are interchangeable but the trim holes are definitely incompatible. 3 pieces on a 67 and 2 completely different pieces on a 68.

All 3 year trunk lids are interchangeable. The only diff. is the shape of the hinges.

And trim and mounting holes and inner structure as previously mentioned. Paying someone to weld/fix/redo mount holes can add up very quickly.
