HI Im new to this site. I have a 1968 valiant 2dr post car. I am wondering how do i tell if my car was orginally a valiant signet or a valiant 100 car?

the signets were more highly optioned. best clues are in the interior. the dash trim goes all the way across and will usually have a signet badge on the glove box. they also came with fancier upholstery. signets also had a chrome trim piece across the lower edge of the trunk lid and over the rockers.
100's are bare bones, 200's are a little nicer, signets are top of the line.

Thanks, i know that the signets had the dash that went all the way across, but didnt know they had chrome trim along the rockers and trunk lid.

The VIN will tell you what the car was originally. VL is the 100 and 200, VH is the Signet.
