Here is a great start for a 340 build. I found a foreclosure house so I'm selling off assets for a down payment. This is a motor I started to build for my Cuda (which I will also be selling) but I can use the cash now. It is out of a 69 Formula S Barracuda. Block has been baked, shot blasted, magged, bored .040 and honed, new cam bearings, and new brass freeze plugs. I have the oil pan and windage tray, and harmonic balancer also. Also have the X heads which have been baked, shot blasted and magged. They checked out fine. The forged crank is at the crank shop to be magged and turned. It's just done so I haven't picked it up yet so I don't know whether it's .010 or what. Should find out when I get it (after the weekend). Great start for somebody, the expensive hard work is done. $1400 firm. To be picked up at Walton NY. Don't really want to ship it but I may if no one close is interested. I'll try to get pics later.
