1969 Dart Swinger factory 340, double X9 (black) paint code, black interior and white bumble bee stripe.
BODY:
- Factory X9 black with white stripe. Bottom of trunk lid still has the original black paint. Body in great condition, very straight. No rust, except for some very minor surface rust from sitting.
- New AMD floor board & trunk floor installed.
- Welded in sub-frame connectors
- Undercarriage very clean
- All original glass intact
- Grill is straight, needs paint. Headlight bezels has some dings
- Tail light bezels & lenses in good condition
- Steel hood with six pack scoop
- Front bumper and brackets. No rear bumper but have brackets.
- Rear seat cross brace was cut out before I bought the car, but I do have the cross brace and bracket from a donor car, needs to be installed (see pics).
INTERIOR:
- Bench seat, auto column shift
- Original dash pad in great condition
- Wireing harness still intact
- New speaker shelf
- New glove box insert
- New gauge cluster/bezel
- Original gauges and radio/heater bezels in good condition
- Clean carpet
- Front & rear seat belts from a donor car
Interior is good for a driver but still needs some TLC. Needs new headliner, front door panels & arm rests, & eventually correct seat covers.
DRIVE TRAIN:
Original 340 is gone. No trans.
- Comes with a complete late 68' 340 short block untouched in very good condition
- New fuel tank with sending unit, 3/8 fuel line, new filler tube and new filler tube/trunk floor seal
- 8 3/4, no 3rd member, no driveshaft. SBP drum brakes all around
- Factory front sway bar
Overall the car is a great starting project with a lot of potential. I had big plans to restore it & I'd hate to sell it, but I need to fund my other project. I have fender tag & clean title on hand.
