1969 Dodge Dart GTS Headlight Grills

Should the areas (fake vents?) on the outsides of the headlight grills be filled in black or show the horizontal chrome lines? I’ve seen them both ways.

1969 Dart GT/GTS are blacked out, all other Darts are not, just that simple. Also, at the area above and beneath where the grill meets the the headlight bezels there is a black area to meet the GT/GTS grille blackout. You can see it clearly in some of the photo's above. The very top pic has the right black out edges but not the "fake vents" so it is a hybrid...LOL
 
Of the two pictures at the top of this thread, for the headlight bucket, that is a GTS, the top one would be a swinger. Just looked at pictures from back in 1970, my best friend had a 383 GTS, and I had a 340 Swinger.
