For Sale: I have a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger project car that I'm offering for sale. The Dart lot drives as it needs some additional brake work to be road worthy. The car has been off the road for several years, but I've been working to get it going for the past several months when I have time. I've replaced the fuel tank and sending unit, brake wheel cylinders, front brake shoes and hardware. The brakes are still not right as I cannot get fluid to the rear brakes. I'm still working on this as time permits. New plugs and wires along a fresh oil change.

The car is equipped with a NOM 318 cubic inch V8 (originally had a 273) and 904 automatic transmission. It has the 7.25 open rear end, power drum brakes (booster removed, but available), power steering and factory a/c. The underbody is solid, but has some lower quarter and driver's rocker rust. I have older AMD quarter skins and rockers to go with the car. The Dart has (5) original wide steel wheels with new tires. Needs a battery, but I have one so that you can hear it run.

This is a solid complete car with tons of potential. I have (2) Darts now, and the other is in the body shop. It is due to be completed in the next few weeks. This car is scheduled to be next in line. I'm not pressed to sell the car, but getting a little overloaded and don't have time to work on it. If this Dart is not sold before the other Dart is finished, it will be on the trailer going to the body shop. Asking $8,000 for Dart and parts. Car is located in N. Kentucky just south of Cincinnati, Ohio.

scratching my head on this one, 69 swingers came stock with 340's and definitely not with a 904 or a 7 1/4 rear. please post the vin#

Nope. There was a Swinger (trim package) and a Swinger 340 (performance package). This car is correct and pretty loaded for a plain Swinger.

i always thought the Swinger was the 340 Dart and it came out in '69.There were later
year Swingers that were not 340 but not '69 at least i never saw one.
Here's the Fender Tag, VIN Tag and picture of the stick-on Swinger Decal.

Update on the Dart.
The brake repairs have been completed along with complete tune up (plugs, points, cap, rotor button and wires). The Dart is running and driving now and only needs new exhaust to repair leaks towards the rear of the system (mufflers). Thanks

The build sheet was behind the rear seat.

Build Sheet says the Dart was ordered with a 3.23 suregrip. It has the smaller rearend in it. Trying to find other odd options.
