I like the look of the later door panels. Would it be a faux pa (?) to have 69 door panels in a 67? I figured since they are soft part no biggie. Anyone have pics of a 69 black deluxe interior in a barracuda fastback?

I think it would be fine. If anybody comes up to you at a car show and mentions it, say, "Really?". I like the looks of the 69 interior better also.

The only person who it matters to is you. I’m using a complete 66 Barracuda interior including the dash in my my modified 65 Dart wagon turned sedan delivery.

Obviously you're not worried about a brazillion point correct car at a car show and if you have the coin to change them out so be it. Tons of pictures on the internet of '69 Barracuda deluxe interiors.

You would need 68/9 bucket seat frames to have the seats match the doors.
67 deluxe interior can look nice too. The deluxe rear panels are custom created.

I didn't know '67 had them but my dads '68 had that "burl" wood look and I always thought they should have carried that over to '69 instead of the cheap (imo) looking wood grain.

Burlwood changed to linear woodgrain in middle of 68 model. Linear woodgrain didn't get onto console until 69 model when groove down the center of those top plates disappeared.

I don't think anyone would notice, My buddy had challenger seats in a 71 cuda 440 6 pack and I was the only one that noticed, he got a good laugh when I ask and he told me after all the people that had looked at his car nobody ever ask about the seats.
