Yesterday I drove over to Layson's and talked to Dave about reproducing the never before repopped Dodge script that appeared on the trunk lid of every 1970 Dodge Dart except the 1970 Swinger 340 (which has the same Dart and Swinger emblems that are on the Swinger quarter panels). These emblems are identical to the Dodge Hood emblems but have 2 mounting posts instead of 4 on the hood emblem, none of which are in the same place. If you are doing a non-340 70 Dart, the only way for it to look right was to weld up the original 2 holes and hope that you place the 4 new holes in the right place so that the emblem is in the right place (good luck). Dave was pretty sure they would make these available and I was able to provide an adequate trunk emblem to base it on. Cross your fingers.
