Possibly looking to sell or trade my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. Rescently finished installing a 383. Has the Schumaker mounts, between the frame rail b body headers (followed the steps on bigblockdart.com), torker 2 intake and 750 Edelbrock carb, fuel cell electric fuel pump, new aluminum radiator, 727 transmission with 2800 stall, 3" exhaust with flowmasters turned down at the rear axle, 6 point cage, weld wheels drag stars on the back, factory steel with dog dish hub caps on front, mini tubs, super stock springs relocated 3" inward, drag shocks.
Has most of the original paint and still wears original vinyl top interior is perfect for older car. Back seat original and so is the carpet, front buckets from a 67 barracuda but match nicely, dash perfect. No heater core or wiper motor(everything else is there for the wipers). Runs great a rear head turner.

Nice mean idle. 4.56 gear spooled. So it doesn't see very long trips right now. They will be changed out to 3.55s this winter if I don't sell.
 
8 3/4 rear end 489 case. big bolt pattern on the rear small bolt pattern on the front. drum brakes on all corner if i don't sell will have disc installed this winter on all four corners
 
Also this Dart has just over 84,000 miles on the body. Has not been out in the rain or snowing 18 years. I was told I am third owner by the person I bought it from. Have not verified this. But condition of car I would say it actual. Origianlly a 318 car from factory.
Has on small spot on passenger rear quarter about size of golf ball paint bubbling Ans a little rust. But good and solid. Small wave in front drivers fender. Easily fixable. Car is solid for the year. Swap out the rear gears and drive it anywhere.
 
would you wanna trade for something more driveable? 74 Scamp, 340 727 power steering, power brakes, a/c, discs front drums back, either 2.45 or low 3. something gears, open diff.
 
just asking would the car be a good driver after the gears carrier and disk brakes are added or does the motor have to big of a cam and compresion to high? like the car and big block is a plus for me.

Car is a good driver now just can't cruise over 55 for an extended period of time. LOL RPMs are at 3800 at 55 to 60 MPH. Just been short trips with it right now.


Cam is couple sizes bigger than stock. Nice lope to it runs fine on pump gas. 10.25 to 1 on compression. 40 over on bore.

Drums aren't bad but if panick stop they would probably fade. That is why I am going to do the 4 wheel disc brake conversion if I keep it.

Just ordered new chrome valve covers as the stock ones are warped and I can't get them to seal. So haven't driven car now in 2 weeks. Don't want oil blown all over the engine. LOL
