I'm looking for measurements for the placement of the Duster 340 decals on the front fenders of my 1970 Duster 340. I thought that maybe somebody might have an original survivor that could give me some numbers. Thanks in advance.

just a thought on the stripe for a '70 Duster.
there is a right and left and most guys install them wrong...but you're probably aware of that

The decals would have had a guideline in place to use for the factory workers.

But they were applied by hand on different days, at different times, on different shifts by different people & on more than one assembly line too.

So if you have any original photos of your car (or not) you can eyeball it.

When we got the car in 1975, it had been repainted and the original decals were removed. I was just checking to see if someone can give me an idea of placement. can give me

I wish I could find my pictures of my brothers 1970 340 Duster. He bought it new and it never had a 340 decal that I remember. It just had Valiant/Duster on the fender and the Duster cloud on the back. Just the grill was painted black in the center and gray on the outside was the only you could tell it was different. That and two tail pipes... turn downs. I could be wrong it was along time ago, but that's what I remember.

I did have a set of fender with original 340 stripes I will see it I still have them, they were rotted.

Thanks Dave. I installed my passenger side exhaust system last night. Your bracket worked great! I'll post pics on my thread when I get around to it.

Here is a photo of where the "Duster 340" decals were originally placed. Hope this helps.
