while I was cleaning my k-member up I noticed that there appears to have been some sort of shield on both sides of k-member, pop riveted in the open space in picture! does anyone have any information on what it was called and are they available? on the passenger side there is still some material left but the drivers side is gone except for rivet's. I looked in classic ind. and could not find anything!

You’d think. But then you’d be doing business with Classic Industries, which is definitely not one of my favorites.

DMT is a great company, I’ve done business with them a bunch. They actually manufacture most of the parts they sell themselves. I worked with the owner to get some of the rallye gauge overlays that they sell made up, he was great to deal with. Their heater box rebuild kits are awesome, and their fuel sender gaskets are better than the junk a lot of places sell.

I will definitely keep them in mind.
