So it pains me to do this, but a recent health scare prompts me to thin the heard possibly.....So here for sale is a 1970 Cuda, 4-speed, V-code, N96, that now has a 727, and a 605 Hemi....Built as a Prostreet car that is legal to drive on the road, run on pump gas, and run mid 9's...
For you VIN tag freaks, I do not have the build sheet or the fender tag. The car never came with it. The original VIN tag is there, and I have the documented history of the car dating back to the 80's. Let me repeat for the slow people, the car HAS the original VIN tag affixed right where it should be. Fifth digit is a V...It is 1 of about 908 4-speeds six-pack cars built. The shaker hood on it now is a fiberglass shaker, not the original. I have owned this car since '96 and with my now known health issue, I am not dealing with any BS. I am pretty attached to the car, but I damn near died this week.....So don't be a jerk if you call or email me. Not dealing with it. Spent the week in the hospital. I do not need to sell the car, but to have the cash if needed if my health changes for the worse.
Now what the car has:
Engine:
Brand new 605 Hemi with 11:1 built by Ron Farley
New comp street friendly roller cam .704 lift
New roller lifters, forget what brand
Reduced valve spring pressure from what I normally run to better street it
Custom upper rocker & valve spring oiling to help keep eveything alive on the street
Brand new Callies block, I have two and put my rotating assembly and heads in the new block.
Block is internally coated in glyptol to promote oil drain back
Has a 12 quart custom pan with AN16 pick up
Milidon pump and cover
Indy Hipo big valve heads, flow sheets available on request.
Indy 426-3 big 4500 intake ported by me
Sniper 4500 efi system good to 1200hp, starts and runs like a nice mild street car in all weather.
Indy valve covers
Callies block
Mezeire big water pump
Massive radiator and fans from Wizard cooling
Trans:
Built 727 by Ron Farley
Super deep cast alum pan
JW bell
ATI convertor 9"
No trans brake
RMVB, but I forget the mfg'r
Pressues tuned for hard shifts
Other mods for better oiling (Trans Brake Ready)
Aftermarket steel drum
Added clutches and lots of parts from A&A
Billet output yoke
Massive trans cooler
Alum drive shaft (Metal Matrix air craft alum, impossible to get now)
Car:
All steel, all glass except the FG hood
6-point roll bar install way back when
LED head lights, tail lights, fog lamps
No carpet currently
1-Kirkey seat for the driver currently
OEM Clutch pedal assembly still in the car
OEM dash, but none of the factory gauges work
PPP air shifter with bottle and solenoid
Large tach and shift light
Holley digital dash hooked to the Sniper and all its sensors
OEM head liner
No back seat
OEM door panels and kick panels
Suspension
Magnumforce front end with coil overs
Caltrac rear suspension with adj Rancharos
Wilwoods on all four corners
Dana 60 3.73 gears and a spool
Works well on the street
Tires
5/8th studs rear
1/2x3" long front studs
Front Holestar 3pcs Holeshot wheels M&T tires, all brand new
Rear Mopoque 15x15 wheels, Hoosier or M&T 16.5x31 ET street DOT cheater slicks
Could it be put back to nearly oem, probably everything except the wheel tubs. I bought it because it was a Prostreet car and not original. If your not buying it or have the cash, don't bug me. There is very few things I would even consider in trade, especially with my recent health scare, so keep the stuff to a minimum.
Car needs the cooling system re-wired, and maybe carpet and another seat. Other than that, not much else. Some paint chips here and there, not perfect, but not bad.
Options:
I could sell it without the drive train, if a good deposit was put down on it.
Could sell it without the efi, as I do have a carb for it.
Could sell it with the two molded race seats that were in it before the Kirkey
And a quick vid!
