A very well sorted 1970 Plymouth Duster that I built the way I wanted it. Started with a solid southern car from New Mexico. Originally 318, 3-speed on floor, tan bench interior, pale yellow exterior. Rotisserie restoration that was blasted/sanded down to bare metal. Epoxy primered, Dupont FK5 burnt orange base/clear. 1971 side stripes. Added functional hood scoops, rear go wing, and frame connectors. Removed factory AC and grafted in a piece of firewall from a donor car. Motor is a 408 stroker built by Brian Hafliger IMM Engines in California. 470Hp, 517 ft. lbs. 9.7:1 compression ratio, hydraulic flat tappet cam, Edelbrock Air Gap, Quick Fuel Q750, Kevko oil pan and pickup, Indy LAX heads cleaned up by IMM, FlowKooler water pump. 4-speed 30 spline transmission totally gone through, 71-74 B-body pistol grip shifter, heavy duty rods and levers from Brewers. CenterForce dual friction clutch. Strange 3” driveshaft with 1350 Spicer u-joints. Original 8 ¾ rearend with 3.23 clutch style Sure Grip. Big bolt pattern axles from Dr. Diff. Custom 5” backspace rear rims 15x8, OEM front 15x6. Dr. Diff Stage 2 front disc conversion kit along with his 15/16” aluminum master cylinder. Auto Meter gauges. Heavy duty strut rods from Mancini. Boxed lower control arms. OEM front sway bar. New fuel and brake lines, gas tank and sender, rebuilt rear drum brakes, PST 16:1 manual steering box and new coupler. Restored steering column with new bearings. FireCore distributor. FBO ignition box. All new M&H wire harnesses and NOS turn signal switch. Headlight relay kit. Wiper motor rebuilt, New windshield and the rest of the glass is OEM tinted. New seals and gaskets, dash bezels restored. Gauge cluster cleaned up at Redline. TTI headers and full TTI 2.5” exhaust & TTI stainless tips. New bumpers. ESPO rear springs. Bilstein shocks. This was a substantial restoration with no corners cut. Every single nut, bolt, and piece of this car has been restored or replaced. Underside is as nice as the rest of car. Everything works as it should. Very quick car that drives beautifully. I have a lot of pics during the process as well as all receipts. Located in west central WI, 100 miles straight east of the Twin Cities. $52,000.
