here is my latest car. i am not worried about selling, but i love to do the projects. i bought this car almost 4 months ago,a nd it was a rolloing shell.
i have all pics to show that all the work i did was done right. may not be perfect, but i did not cheat anything.

this is a real 1970 moulon rouge (fm3(panther pink) 340 auto duster.
motor and trans are numbers matching to each other, and are date code correct for the car, but not numbers matching to the car itself.
i have replaced or restored all of the stuff on the car myself, out of my redneck carport style garage turned into a full fledged atuo/ resto shop!
i have put alot of new parts not limited to clutch linkages/bushings, brake lines, master cylinder, alt, belts, rad, two front new tires(still needs two ne back ones),starterselonoid, volt reg, oil pressure guage, electric temp guage, clutch kit, headliner, and more.
the 340 engine runs flawlessly, and is fully rebuilt with new bearing, ring, gaskets, oil pump, timing set, valve seals. heads are ported and stock manifold is port matched to the heads. new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.
trans was pulled apart and inspected, and since the car it came out of was wrecked in the 70's, left it looking like new inside. nothing needed to be done to the trans.
car has 8.75 rear with 3:23 sure grip chunk out back. dual exaust with flowmasters that dump right before the rear. sounds awesome.
put new shocks all the way around, have new wheel studs for all, as i will be putting them on it the next few days., also has new fuel pump, fuel tank, fuel sender.
all in all, this car may not be a show car winner, but it is an awesome looking cruiser. drives the highways straight, and stops nice. with the factory disc brakes up front.
little things it will need are rear tires, plastic cover for driver side of seat, maybe a set of rechromed bumpers(these show some fading and checking in the chrome), and it needs the fual tank ground strap.
i know the economy is tight right now, but i have seen fm3 wrecks go for 10k+ needing full resto work. i am firm on 13,000 for this car. i have clear title and fender tag, that matches all number on the body. is is not a clone.
car is located 30 minutes from martinsville international speedway in va

pics are as follows.....
1: in primer, ready for wet sand and paint
2: fender tag
3: starting point under hood
4: little dings being fixed
5: engine going in after all cutting in on paint
6:patches where someone cut out area to put bigger tires under it.lol

I'm surprised you're selling it so fast. I'd figured you would enjoy pinky a little while. Came out real nice, someone will get a cool car. Good luck with the sale.

no, no, not a rush sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. either way. i just love to build them. that is what i like to do. i also like to drive them, but cannot afford full insurance, and god forbid anything happen, i am out all monies, so, ill just keep building!. but, it is tagged and insured, and will drive it every single day till it may sell!

Turned out great. Looks like it just needs a few finishing touches here and there like changing out the driver side window and some ralley wheel lug nuts and tire dressing. :burnout:

Very honest and reasonable price!Good to see a real nice car offered without the sentimental value affecting the price...Alot of car for the money!Good luck with the sale!

Glad too hear. It looks like you do enjoy building them. Looking forward to what's next!=D>:burnout:

My Barracuda is only $230.00 a year through J.C.Taylor for 30k worth of coverage. You ever think about checking places that only deal in classic cars?

did you ask me a while back about trading for my GTX clone? would you still be interested? PM me.

looks familiar. Mine IS NOT an original FM3 car. Although it is an original 71 340 4 speed buterscotch car. Now features a 450 HP solid roller 340, w 727, and 3500 stall, also hooked up but never used a 100 shot of NOS. Some day when I have the extra cash the 4 gear and buterscotch paint will return. Car still has the pedals all the other stuff is in the garage.

no, not a real 4 speed. origionally a auto.
swinger340, i would love to see more pics of your ride, as i am wanting to do the blacked out hood and runners!
only magor work was done , was to the driver side complete rail was replaced. alot said to cap it, but the magority voted for a full replacement, is which i chose, to do right.

the paint is a single stage urethane enamal. it could use a cut and buff, but i have never done it before, and will not try it on here!. it has 5 quality coats on the car.

thanks guys, for all the nice words. like i said. no fire sale, but already plotting my next build!.lol (hence: 340 plot), cause everyone i build i want to put a 340 in it!.lmao

so would you do any trading? or sell without the drivetrain? i replied earlier.
