What's the "List" number on the air horn?

Pretty sure they came with thermoquads

If it's an early 71 build date, the carburetor and intake could be correct.

The Holley List #4668 (R4668A) shown was originally equipped on 1971 383 E-body or B-body without fresh air (Shaker of Air Grabber/Ramcharger) and automatic transmission.

For all 1971 E-bodies and B-bodies with 383 high performance 4-barrel engines, the numbers are as follows:

1971 383 without fresh air manual: Holley R4667A or R6191A
1971 383 without fresh air automatic: Holley R4668A
1971 383 with fresh air manual: Holley R4734A or R6193A
1971 383 with fresh air automatic: Holley R4735A

Automatic cars have a distributor ground switch. Manual transmission cars have an idle speed solenoid which also has a ground switch on the plunger.

Regarding the Thermo-Quad, in 1971, only 340 engines were equipped with Thermo-Quads. The Thermo-Quad continued in 1972 on the 340, but the design changed from the air metered type to the solid fuel metered type. Thermo-Quads were also introduced on 400 4-barrel applications in 1972.

In 1973, the Thermo-Quad was used across all models and engines with 4-barrel carburetors, except some heavy duty truck applications.
