1971 cuda tires

IIRC those cars came with PolyGlass GT tires;
Have you ever driven on PolyGlass GTs with a 340? It's like driving on ice with a crosswind. lol. They skate, they plow, they drift, they hydroplane, they got no grip; not accelerating/not stopping/and especially not turning, they're hard as stone. IMO; those were the worst tires ever invented. The kindest things I can say about them, is that with air in them, they keep the frame off the pavement; and they look nice ..........
To their credit tho, they did last extraordinarily long being abused by a teenage me. They'd likely be OK for a slanty tho, if you don't change lanes in a hurry, and you live somewhere warm and dry.
Jus saying;

Do you really want to put them on your Classic Car?
Buy extra insurance, and a extra sheet metal, or just don't drive it on a public road, and, trailer it to the shows.
Jus saying.
