Hi Folks

I have an April built car and was wondering which system it would use. The bows mount in the little holes, and NOT the cups as seen in a 1970 Duster. The car came in a pile without the bows. I can use either system, but I would like to know what is original and/or better........And/or easier to install.

Thanks FABO

I'm going with a 6 bow in my '72 Duster. Not that it's original-there was no cloth headliner available in '72, but because it seems like there would be an awful lot of cloth between 4 bows. I like the idea that 6 bows would make it look tighter.

Pics of the bow locations would be awesome. My car has 3 holes in each location.

Last 71 Duster I parted decades ago was six bow, and also had three sets of holes. Can't help w location, but maybe it's just wherever it looks best w/ proper tension?

I recently pulled the headliner out of my 71 demon which should be the same as your duster. It has the 6 bow style and had most of the bows mounted into the lowest hole of the 3 options. I took pictures of everything, can email them to you if interested.
