Up for sale is this factory 318 1971 Dodge Dart project car.
The body is straight, all of the glass is good, comes with the grill, headlights, bezels, a strait flat hood that's already drilled for hood pins, straight trunk lid and the bumpers. It has the back seat but no front seats, the dashboard is in great condition and it has a B&M Quicksilver shifter, just needs a cable. It does have some rust, mostly in the rear frame rails.
It also comes with a standard bore big block 400 engine that is mostly complete but is in pieces and needs to be rebuilt. The engine comes with the block, two crankshafts, the stock cast crank and an aftermarket forged stroker crank that I was told will make the 400 into a 472ci. It also comes with the stock pistons and rods, the heads, rocker arms and shafts, an aftermarket camshaft and lifters, an edelbrock dual plane aluminum intake manifold, the water pump housing and the oil pump. It needs some work but it would make a great project car!
The car also has an 8 3/4 rear end with a 489 case and a 3.55:1 posi center section! It also comes with a used set of sub frame connectors, a brand new prefabricated 8 point roll cage, brand new prefabricated wheel tubs and a brand new self centering leaf spring relocation kit with adjustable ride heights (3 different positions) from US car tool. All still in the boxes!
My brother and I were going to make a nice street/strip car but we just don't have the time or money so our loss is your gain!
