1971 Dodge Demon Project Car:

Has a 318 engine with gasket-matched 360 heads, Mopar performance 484 lift purple cam, an Aluminum intake manifold and 750 Holley manual choke carb. Apparently was being set up for drag racing, but left unfinished. It will need extensive work to restore, especially front frame and suspension rebuilding. Needs plenty of paint and body work, as well as a new wiper motor and heater core. I would have replaced the trunk floor and gas tank if I were keeping it (the gas filler tube, as well as other parts are included with purchase).

Some of the work that has been done is:

• 2 new front floor pans installed

• Rear frame was redone and a fuel cell installed in trunk.

• 8 3/4 rear axle with a non positive traction differential and 2.76 gear ratio installed

• New 2 1/2 inch exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers

• New Under Dash Harness

• New Steering column, steering gear

Comes with a full set of OEM Rally Wheels, with center caps and beauty rings, as well as a full set of Demon decals.

Motor has less than 100 miles on it

Asking $18,000

Located in Front Royal, VA

Please post pictures of the engine compartment, interior, and trunk floor, along with passenger side of the Demon...so we have a better idea of the car.

Also, what is wrong with the front frame you mentioned? What about the suspension, needs a complete rebuild? What are options on the car?
Does it have the fender tag still?

Hi- Sorry I didn't get more photos of it before I posted, but I was trying to get it done in a hurry, and was getting it cleaned up a little at a time (it's been sitting a good while). Weather wasn't super-cooperative while that was going on, so I will try to get some more this weekend. Here's the current status:

As far as some of the other questions, I'm not positive about what was done with the rear frame, I took a lot of the information from the person I bought it from. As far as front suspension, his remarks were "rebuild front suspension: tie rods, ball joints, etc." The front frame should probably be replaced, although it might be possible to reinforce it with new steel. I have a place around me that does that kind of work, but have never taken it in to have them look at it.
