Hello everyone just thought id start my Pro Touring / Resto mod Dart project here on ABO. Its been about 7 years ive had the car painted and first started driving it. My and my father painted the car originally and looks pretty good 10 feet away but didnt spend much time on the body work. The way the car sits now is a complete turn key driver. It has a 69 date coded 340 x heads and rv cam, air gap intake; runs good has about 1000 miles on motor, its for sale by the way. Has electronic ign, disc in the front and 8 3/4 rear 3.23 gears, a833 4 speed, kyb shocks front, air in the rear and 1 inch torsion bars. My interrior is perfect not messing with it, but i am messing with every thing else! Ive been saving over the pass year and this is my plan to have done by next June for the Hot Rod Power Tour!
- New paint, rear quarter skins
- new front glass
- New Vinyl top
- RMS tubular front end
- RMS street lynx rear end
- 4 wheel discs brakes
- 416 stroker motor, roller rockers, nice lumpy cam, airgap intake
- 17s running 235 front and 275 -285 rear
- A833 OD trans and keeping my 3.23 suregrip
- Hemi hood scoop i think with the mostly blacked out hood ( ive have a poll on that later or post comments now)
- Fast lane west dash .... possibly want new and better working gauges but want to stay original type looking nothing wild.
- Frames tied
I really cant wait to get it painted then the goodies go on :)

Follow the rules you dope. Stop trying to peddle your worthless parts worth less than the sum of their whole!

I have decided that I am not crazy for your wood grain non-rally dash and gauges. Feel free to go way beyond stock in this regard.

Yes thanks you for handling the shesaid but he is a friend so no worries. Yes sorry for posting for sale items just wanted to let people know stuff is up for grabs during the build. I'm really excited for the build been tossing ideas around for a couple years. Any advice good or bad on anything I'll take specially before I venture into this any more.

Heres some other pics i had on my phone. Getting ready to order rear quarter skins from ebay and im going to go with US Cartool frame conectors. Im going with skins from a guy on ebay both sides to my door is 350. I know they aint AMD but hope they work. Still trying to save where i can. Had some 245/45/17s laying around, just seeing how they look and clearence wise. Ill have plenty of room when the leafs are gone :)

I'll be at the body shop this week and have some up. Waiting on soda blast guy to come by and get it to bare metal.

its been a little bit but soda is done :D ! So next will be putting in new quarters and tying frame together.

Looks like a pretty solid car.I would not try to save money on cheap ebay metal. In the end it will cost you a lot more than the 100.00 bucks you saved.Just my 2 cents.

It looks like you can use just the lower portions of the quarter panel skins. That will be easier than trying to straighten out a non AMD quarter skin.

Yes car is very solid, we painted this our selves once and knew where the bad spots were. Im going to just be using the bottom half of the quarter skins, saved me money on the cost of a full quarter :)
