1972 Dodge Demon grill colour

Hey guys,
I am repairing the original grill out of my 72 Demon and would like to know what the original colour used on the black fins. Is it Flat black or Gloss black. It looks flat to me but then again its faded from over the years. I have the argent silver already for it.

You mean a Grille like this? Matt Black is the color.

I have a spare one being shipped this week to me. We might be able to work out a deal. I'm working on one now also as you can see.

Nice. I plan on painting the black by hand with a brush. is that what you are doing on this grill?

Yes. Sprayed the silver on the bezels. Did the black by hand with a brush. Had a minior repair to fix. Before & After photo. And finished photo.

Great work. Did you use small amounts of body filler to fill the repair once it was fixed? Something I plan on doing.

No. I used JB weld stick. Comes in a tube like playdough. Sands down nice.

I will have to keep that in mind. let me know if you end up having a used/broken grill to get rid of.
